WHO WE ARE The Italian Coffee Committee is the point of reference and spokesperson not only for the representatives of the roasting industry but for the entire sector, in relations with national, European and international institutions, with the European Coffee Federation and with the various social components. The Italian Coffee Committee thus intends to give continuity to the role of spokesman for the various categories played by the Italian Coffee Committee from 1959 to 2014. The Italian Coffee Committee is the reference body for national institutions (in particular: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Agricultural Policies, Ministry of the Environment) for general interests related to coffee imports, distribution and consumption. The Italian Coffee Committee collaborates, through its experts, with the International Coffee Organization (ICO), an institution established in 1963 by the governments of the main producing and consumer countries, under the aegis of the United Nations. The Italian Coffee Committee is a member of the European Coffee Federation and the European Food Industry Confederation (FoodDrinkEurope).
